A Gentleman and an Ambassador to the Rottweiler Breed

Everyone who knew Czar loved him, he was as steady as a rock, totally trustworthy, a wonderful companion

and a very dear friend

Heavenly Father, if it be thy will, I’m returning to you one whose body’s now still.

You loaned him to me many years ago, It’s so difficult for me to return him you know.

I have a favour if you’ll but hear my plea, Would you hold him sometimes on Thy holy knee?

He likes to be scratched behind his ears, A tummy rub to calms all his fears.

Children he loves so would you allow him to play, With your tiny angels their wings he won’t fray.

He’s ever so careful with the little one’s, he knows they are fragile and has never harmed one.

Words I know fail to explain his perfection no doubt in my mind, you need no explanation.

I know, that you know, how hard it can be, to give back a loved one for much loved was he.

He was an angel on earth that now flies with new wings, although tears fill my eyes for him my heart sings.

To know that he’s happy with no fears and no pain, Eases my heart but loneliness remains.

Here he is Lord, I’m sending him home, he’ll stay close to you, he won’t try to roam.

And so he won’t forget me would you tell him each day

How I love him and miss him, and wish he could stay

Gone but never forgotten

We are joined you and me, by a long golden string, each time that you tug it my broken heart will sing.
