It has recently been brought to my attention that some committee members from The Scottish Rottweiler Club have been using their position as representatives of that club to tell people enquiring about stud dogs or puppies that they should not use any dog bred or owned under the Duntarvie Affix, and should never consider buying a puppy from this breeding regardless of who it's breeder may be.

The reason given for this, as they say, is that these pedigree’s are most likely false, or in the words of one committee member well dodgy.

I feel I have ignored these absurd allegations for long enough, I would now like everyone to know that the pedigree’s and bloodline I have here at Duntarvie go back to some of the oldest and best established bloodlines in the UK. I have nurtured and cared for these bloodlines with great pride, as I have done with the bloodlines of all my dogs here.

I challenge these people to look at the pedigrees they claim are false, and come back with hard evidence to back up their statements. I would also advise them to look at these bloodlines they claim are false, and then take a long, hard look at their own bloodlines and pedigree’s.

I have here in my breeding such bloodlines as Romanmoor, Potterspride, Olearia and many more old and well loved names. I am sure the breeders who established these kennels will be most annoyed at the aspersions being cast on these bloodline.

The above photographs show some of the males who’s pedigree has been brought into question I am more than happy to discuss this with anyone.

I would also like to offer my sincere apologies to the breeders who established these wonderful bloodlines if this notice causes them any upset.
